Yoga Books

There are thousands of yoga books dedicated to every niche and style of yoga known to man. Sifting through them to find the best yoga books for you can be challenging to say the least.

Tips on finding a good yoga book:

  • Try used book stores - While these books may be old, tattered, and out of date, they are a cheap way to explore the world of yoga. Just because the pictures may not have the most beautiful models or the shiniest gloss across them doesn't mean the information inside isn't valuable. Remember, yoga is thousands of years old. Only the marketing tools have changed.
  • Ask your local instructor or yoga friends - People who have been around yoga longer than you often know who's who, and what's what when it comes to yoga books.
  • Check out books at the library - You can find many up-to-date books on yoga at your local library. And best of all, they're free.
  • The internet is always a good place to research anything. You'll find everything from product reviews to journal postings online about who's got the latest yoga books.
