Yoga journals can be an endless source of information for the self or for others. Online yoga journals are especially valuable because they allow you as well as others to connect with each other despite distance, level, or age. Why post a personal journal entry for the world to see? Because, what you may think as a trivial or amateur breakthrough in your yoga practices, may be enlightenment for others not yet on the same path as you. This of course holds true for more advanced journal entries that you may read from more experienced practitioners and yogis.

Even if you don't want to use the internet, keeping your own yoga journal is an immeasurable tool in furthering your yogic capabilities. There you can record how you feel after each session, what your fears or concerns may be, or simply which routines you've accomplished or plan to accomplish.
