Yoga Pants

yoga pants

Yoga pants very in shape, size and function. However, most yoga pants can be categorized into two basic categories, very loose and form-fitting. Form-fitting pants should not be 'tight' such as tight jeans, but should be elastic and hug the body to ensure a full range of movement. Lycra or spandex pants are a good example. These materials breathe well and allow freedom of movement for the legs.

Loose-fitting yoga pants are another option for those not comfortable with form-fitting yoga wear. Loose yoga pants such as sweats, karate pants, or specially designed pants should not be so loose that they entangle limbs or fall on the face during certain positions. Loose yoga pants should be just loose enough to allow for a full range of motion and have sufficient ventilation.

There are many variations and styles based on these two design structures. To find the best yoga pants for you, simply ask yourself first which you would feel most comfortable in, form-fitting yoga pants, or loose-fitting pants. After that, it's mostly a matter of style and personal preference.
