Yoga School

yoga school

A good yoga school should include competent instructors, a varied schedule, convenient location, and reasonable rates. While there are many fine yoga schools to choose from, finding the one that suits your needs is vital to your growth as a yoga practitioner.

There are several ways to find a yoga school. The most resourceful is by using the internet. Virtually every school has their own website that can provide all of the information you'll need. A good website will list their yoga center location, mission, times, prices, yoga products, bio of the head instructors, pictures of the yoga studio, and basic information about the yoga styles they teach.

If brand name yoga types such as Bikram yoga or Iyengar yoga are not your cup of tea, your local gym, YMCA, or community college offer quality classes of more standard styles (usually Hatha yoga) as vary affordable rates. The quality of instruction varies from school to school, so it's best to ask around. Otherwise, trying out a class or two is a very effective way to find out if this yoga school is right for you.
