Iyengar is the living founder of this style of yoga which focuses on precise hatha postures. While there are instructor certification courses around the world for this style, many are privileged enough to travel to India to study with Iyengar himself.

Another popular style that requires instructor certification is Bikram yoga. Master Bikram Choudhury is another living founder of his own brand of yoga who requires certification for his instructors. Originally from India, Bikram now resides in Beveryly Hills, California. This is another style where certification by the master himself is not required, however many choose to learn from Bikram himself.

If yoga teacher training for a more general style is required, one can find a variety of yoga schools around the globe willing to teach those wishing to become instructors. They range from power yoga to prenatal yoga instructors. The decision will be based upon your own level of training desire.
